A 6.7 Temblor Shook Northern Japan

A 6.7 temblor hit the Pacific Coast of Northern Japan, urging an order of evacuation
of about 8,000 households in the coastal cities of Kamaishi and Ofunato. No
immediate damage and injuries has been reported so far.
The quake struck in the early morning on Thursday and was centered 530 kilometers
north-northeast of Tokyo. The epicenter was about 175 kilometers north of the area
devastated after the magnitude-9 earthquake struck in March.
