One of the windiest and rainiest storms in five years churned down the West Coast, northern California, on December 11, 2014. It brought in strong winds, much-needed rain and snow to California where there has been a drought for a long time. According to National Weather Service, the storm has headed south with very powerful winds and heavy rainfall.

Strong winds felled the trees, and even killed a man and a teenage boy in Oregon. Waves slammed onto the bays. A lot of schools and businesses told people to stay home. Fifty thousand utility customers were without power in San Francisco.
