Flood, Storm

Typhoon Meari struck the west coast of South Korea over the weekend in late June,
causing at least 9 casualties and 3 missing. Cities of Kaesong and Haeju were
engulfed and left with certain extent of destruction.
The storm has brought heavy rains that caused floods and suspended sea routes
around the peninsula. Regional governments in South Korea have commenced the
clean-up and restored most public facilities.
