7 Dead in Japan as Roke Downgraded to Tropical Storm

As of Wednesday the 21, powerful typhoon Roke has abated to a tropical storm while
death tolls continued to rise. On making landfall Wednesday, Roke hit regions of the
country with heavy rainfall and sustained winds of up to 167 kph, affecting
prefectures stretching from Nagasaki in the south to Iwate in the north. Death tolls
have reached 7 so far and are expected to rise according to the authorities.
