Devastating Tornados Struck the States

In early June, several devastating tornados and storms struck the central and western
regions of Massachusetts State, affecting 19 local communities and taking more than
4 lives.
Back in late May, a major tornado hit Joplin City, Missouri State, causing a casualty
more than 130; still in April, Alabama State also went under the destructive
occurrence of a tornado.
According to the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the
hurricane season is just around the corner; meanwhile, National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) also confirmed the remaining of the hurricane
season until the end of November.
Officers and governors involved in emergency responding were summoned to the
White House to discuss the preparation for prospective hazards.
