Heavy rainfall has been affecting the south-western Peninsular Malaysia, particularly the Selangor State since 8 November, causing floods that have resulted in evacuations and damage.
The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as of 10 November, more than 170 evacuated people across three evacuation centres, of which 104 people in one evacuation centre in the Petaling District and 69 people across two evacuation centre in the Kuala Langat State. In addition, ADINet also reports around 40 damaged houses across the aforementioned affectd Districts.
Over the next 72 hours, very heavy rainfall is forecast over the whole Peninsular Malaysia.
