An earthquake scaled at 6.5 struck the territory of Chile, with the epicenter situated
north of the City Calama. The quake occurred around noon, lasting for a minute; so
far no casualties and major destruction have been reported. According to the
observatory agency in Chile, no tsunami was triggered by the earthquake.
