Tornados Hit New York City

Two tornados hit the city’s boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn. The first twister struck
Queens’ Rockaway Peninsula with winds up to 70mph while the second one, with
gusts reaching 110mph, struck Canarsie area in Brooklyn. So far no injuries or deaths
were caused by the rare occurrences.
